Vinyl - Excellent (Playing) / Excellent (Visually)
Matrix - K54007 A1 / K54007 B1
This original UK Reprise (Steamboat Label) LP plays very well with no jumps or skips or any real loss of sound quality. There is no crackle, static, pops or clicks at all, it plays through both sides beautifully, so overall we have graded this LP as excellent. Visually, we also grade this album as excellent. There are no fingerprint marks, no hairline scratches on either side, one small mark on side 2 and no paper scuffs, it is a really clean and shiny LP. The labels are clean and free from writing, marks or stains with just a few very, very light spindle traces.
The plain inner (not the original) is in very good condition, it is intact with no marks, stains, splits, tears or writing, just some creasing in one corner.
The original MacNeill Press card cover in PVC wallet is in very good plus condition. There is some light grubbiness to the front of the wallet. The card sleeve is is almost immaculate, hardly a mark on it. The 'Clear Spot' logo on the flap is perfect and there is just some creasing to the right hand side of the flap, it still goes all in the fold. This cover is intact, no rips, stains, marks or writing. Have a look at the pictures for further details.
Overall this is in excellent condition and is a great addition to anyone's collection.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
