Description
Captain Beefheart Clear Spot 1972 vinyl K54007 (MS 2115) (Runout K54007 A1 & B1). Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
A1/B1 First pressing (?? I am not an authority so I am not 100% sure of the details or if this is the case). Clear plastic sleeve in good condition, no splits, a bit discolored due to age, embossed 'Clear Spot'. Inner card all in good condition, undamaged, but some discoloration due to age. Vinyl looks good and bright, light scratch on Crazy Little Thing. I do not remember any problems playing the record, or hearing the scratch, but that was at least 30 years ago. I no longer have a record player so cannot check. Sold on that basis.
One mystery remains, and that is the inner sleeve (see photo). I presume it is not the original and must have got swapped at some time in the distant past - it is a CBS one. The other possibility is that is did not come with an inner sleeve when new. I can't remember!
I am finally getting rid of my vinyl record collection after somany years of listening to CDs and now Spotify etc!
