Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1954
Notes: Maroon label first pressing. This is a mid-career single from Fulson, but his first for Checker. He was one of the most important west coast blues artists of the era, but doesn't get the acclaim that many other artists do. Two great guitar-based blues tracks on this one.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in gorgeous and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just a couple of tiny hairline marks. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears or stickers, but do have some very light scuffing. This is a really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
