Decca 1964 release 12 × Vinyl, LP, Box Set
Language: English Approx. 32x32x3.5cm
12 LPs, each in paper sleeves fitting into hard card outer slipcase box, soft cover booklet: 58 pages, including essays, speech and broadcast information, illustrated with colour/b&w photos. I have seen a version of this where there is a metallised plate on the front of the box and the albums have monographed card outer sleeves as well as inner white bags – I suspect this is a later edition Very good condition for vinyl throughout, however, there is wear and tear on outer box and the booklet back cover has come unglued from pages to reveal the staples underneath – see photos. The booklet has some warping to the pages too – see photos. The records are all in good condition and play fine. An extensive archive of the words and speeches of Churchill, an absolutely essential resource for scholars of Churchill. This weighs 10lbs+ and just to make it even heavier and more costly on my postage charges I’m also putting in a freebie hardcover book, ‘The Wicked Wit of Winston Churchill’ – just for the hell of it!
