DEEP PURPLE - SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE - 1968 Mono white label test pressing in plain white flipback sleeve with black and white proof pic of Deep Purple pasted onto front.
Record G+ Sleeve VG-
This was issued as Parlophone PMC 7055. Matrix numbers in run off groove. Side one XEX 689 - 1. Side Two XEX 690 - 1. No cat numbers in run off groove. Looks G+ with quite a few intermittent surface marks and plays very well. Two light audible scratches on side two during Help and one during Love Help Me neither of which are loud. Rest plays very well with light surface noise in most of it but it's very enjoyable. After the music stops at the end of Hey Joe on side two it does start to crackle a bit. But again not too loud.
Not that you'll be playing it much. What a rarity!
