HERE'S a beautiful "Royal Blue" Columbia record of two hits from Walter Winchell's 1933 Picture, "Broadway Thru a Keyhole."
JOE VENUTI'S BLUE SIX make beautiful jazz, which has lasted, on "DOIN' THE UPTOWN LOWDOWN." This edition of the Blue Six features the stellar crew: BENNY GOODMAN (clarinet), BUD FREEMAN (tenor sax), ADRIAN ROLLINI (bass sax), JOE SULLIVAN (piano), DICK McDONOUGH (guitar), NEIL MARSHALL (drums) and of course, JOE VENUTI (violin). The sheer swinging beauty of this record must be heard to be appreciated.
BEN SELVIN AND HIS ORCHESTRA do their usual fine job on "YOU'RE MY PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE" on the flip side.
THIS original 1933 "Royal Blue" Columbia 2834-D is in splendid EE- condition. Hardly any wear, a few scratches. Some yutz drilled an extra hole right through the label, which however, does nothing to mar the music.

My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care. Your record will brave Media Mail in a stout corregated box, between four sheets of cardboard and a couple of “packers.” I hope you are amused by these descriptions, and by the quality of service being offered.
