DON CHERRY SYMPHONY FOR IMPROVISERS BLUE NOTE LIBERTY BST 84247 RVG STEREO US LP

 1st year US Blue Note in perfect playing Near mint condition, Low use and no splits dirt or pen to the sleeve. Very slight age browning only, which is a chemical reaction over time to the glue between the layers of the sleeve. Clean labels, not warped or off centre. Van Gelder stamps to both sides. This is the real thing, and the condition is the thing that makes this rare, because I have owned it for several decades in a broad and deep collection, so nothing ever got over played. I used to be a jazz promoter, I knew Don a bit, met him a few times, sorry not to have been uncool enough to ask him to sign this and the other 20 lps of his I have.
1967 first year issue, 1966 is the year that Liberty buys Blue note, so both labels exist in the first year of this (New York and these). Blue Note Records 84247. This has shot up in value in recent years, and its price is only going in one direction for the foreseeable future. Proper (Rudy) Van Gelder stamped superior East Coast pressing with first type Division of Liberty blue and white labels, the  Super clean vinyl plays near mint, it's been sat in a Nagaoka inner along with the company discographical advert inner all in a poly outer since the 80s that I can remember. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water.  This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
