DONALD BYRD - "Byrd's Word" LP on the Savoy label, mono, MG-12032, from 1956. This is a original US pressing of a rare jazz album. On the original red label, with a deep label. Labels are clean. The nice, thick, glossy cover is in VG++ condition, and has a 2 inch split on spine, with light wear on corners. There is a name written on back cover. The disc on Side A, looks closer to VG+, with just a few, light surface marks, and plays great, with just a little background crackles in a couple spots, Side B is s strong VG, with some short marks, and plays with some ticks and background crackles, between the 1st and 2nd tracks, and the rest plays very good, with just ocassional light background crackles.
