Hey folks. Up for auction here is a copy of the very rare DOUG WATKINS "AT LARGE" LP on TRANSITION RECORDS, featuring Doug Watkins, Hank Mobley, Donald Byrd, Kenny Burrell, Duke Jordan, and Arthur Taylor. VERY IMPORTANT// PLEASE READ: This record is in FAIR to GOOD condition. There are many scuffs and a few large scratches on the vinyl that you can both feel as well as see. I tested both sides of the record completely and it never skipped on my turntable although there was both some steady surface noise as well as popping due to scratches. The labels seemed to have at one point come off and were reglued unevenly, so the stylus on your turntable will most likely skate across the labels if you don't stop it in time. The sleeve is in POOR condition. 2/3 of the seams (spine and top) have torn completely and the bottom spine is fairly tattered as well. The front cover has both handling and shelf wear. The back of the sleeve is plain brown. Though flawed, I found that the record is still very, very listenable, and enjoyable if one doesn't mind the sounds and imperfections of a worn record.
