Description

An original 1st press on RCA label for this configuration. Remember - it was issued 1st with the infamous dress cover in '70 abd flopped somewhat. This is the re-design and reissue from when Stardust pulled through in '72. Please note the songs on this title were first released in '70! Matrix 1E/1E - 1st cut. The original Philips pressing is prohibitively expensive on account of its rarity. The labels mention Titanic publishing which means it dates from '72 - when Bowie hit the bigtime with Stardust. The heavy-set [monster!] vinyl comes housed in its original cover with no Mainman logo. There's also the original inner too. And big 'ol poster...genuine and complete 100%.
Vinyl (Ex+) Has been well cared for and has seen only lightest use. One very slight mark per side - nothing problematic even remotely. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Excellent+ level of playback. Lovely quiet intros and inbetweens - most copies will not hit this level. Clean feeder audio which is great for this particular title. MWSTW is simply superb on a quiet copy. Cannot fault really. An out of this world copy...
Cover (Ex/Ex-) Well you won't find many originals looking this fine Spine is 80%+ intact with slight wear - but better than the majority of specimens. Very little sign of wear or creasing on surfaces. Really fine original copy
Inner (Ex) No splits. Real Nice. Crisp.
Poster (Ex) very crisp.
