Diamond dogsOriginal OZ LP released in 1974 on RCA Records. Cat: CPL10576. This album has a gatefold sleeve.
Loose Orwellian concept album from the thin white duke. In many ways a perfect combination, both artists dabbled with creating a strong sense of alienation and isolation in a nightmare future. At the time it was seen as Bowie overstretching his ideas having recently fired the Spiders from Mars and effectively going it alone. (plus the album is barely a concept album, it quickly returns to straightforward songs after using up all possible 1984 connotations) In retrospect there are many audio pleasures to be found, namely the genius that is "Rebel Rebel", "1984", the title track and "Sweet Thing."

Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches. There are a few light crackles throughout. Record is in VG+ condition. Cover has light ring wear and is in Excellent condition.
