Description
Genuine first pressing of the UK Mercury label release of David Bowie's third album The Man Who Sold The World.
The front and back cover is textured and is in excellent condition but there is some shelf wear to the edges and the spine and some scuffing to the sleeve's opening edge.
There are minor handling marks to the vinyl with some marks around the spindle hole and impressions of finger prints which I am sure can be removed successfully with a professional clean.
I have not played the record so I cannot comment on sound quality but I certainly could not see any scratches or significant damage to the grooves.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1; 633804 1Y//1 420 114
Side 2; 633804 2Y//1 420 111
It comes in its original white polythene lined sleeve common with all Phonogram pressed records from the period. All of these details are identical to the copy of this record which sold for £1,550.00 on 18 August 2013 item number 161082680451 so if you missed out then with its 28 bids then why not have a go with this one?
