This is from my own collection I am not a dealer, in the next few months I am selling off part of my collection, some rarities and collectable, no filler! Thanks for looking!
Recorded late 71 and early 72 David Bowies landmark "Ziggy" Album was released June 72 and was recognized by some as his best work at the time,This is a keeper for someone looking for a wholly original 1972 press of this great album.
Nr mint copies are almost impossible now sometimes £200+

Bowie was touring extensively and "retired" Ziggy after the last show on his 73 UK tour with a famous show at Shepherds bush Apollo which was screened recently as one his highs...a film was made at the time Directed by "DA Pennebaker" and is widely regarded as a great snapshot of Bowie on the road with Spiders, anyone who saw this tour will recall....
Later in his career Bowie revealed that "most of Ziggy was already written before Hunky Dory came out in 71.
Here is a original 1972 RCA Uk 1st Interim copy with matt labels and "no Mainman" credit on the cover and "printed in England by Robert Stace" on the rear very collectable and in great order! rare!
Ziggy Stardust, Five Years, Moonage daydream, Starman, Suffragette City all are here, truly one of Bowies greatest.

really thick + nice flat 70s pre oil crisis vinyl
In great shape with no writing or stickers on labels , original RCA uk matt yellow, with 1972 "a gem production" on the label. Amazing audio on this great bass and only light scratches removal scuffs and hairlines, nothing to disrupt play , we tested on the Rega 3 and the super fussy Kenwood with no issues, the sound is incredible Ronsons guitar is framed perfectly on this Trident studios London recording.
please bear in mind this is a 44 year old vinyl and not a"mint" or "Archive" copy, this is graded as near ex with no issues.some static exists and a little background in the quieter passages but sounds amazing.
The Sleeve

100% original with great vivid colours (we have seen some poorer quality and faded or just aged) this one is very clear see pics..
and "no Mainman credits" on the sleeve (denotes very early copy)
really nice sleeve see pictures, no writing stickers or tears, good spine fully readable on this 1972 original. its 44 years old and looking very well. kept in its PVC sleeve upright storage. from a smoke free home,not a lot of handling wear.
"printed in England by Robert Stace" on the rear sleeve as it should be.
no surprise here pictures are of actual item for sale what you see is what you get.
