Ziggy Stardust - 1st Pressing from 1972 on the UK Victor RCA label. Matrix 1E/2E. No 'Main Man' Credits on record or cover. Credits = TITANIC which is consistent with the very 1st issues. Original matt cover and original inner sleeve with TITANIC credit. A beautifully preserved record and, wow!, the audio is heavenly! 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) Never have I had a record which is so easily an Ex+...looks like it has just rolled of the press. Shiny like new with barely a single mark on it this record has clearly seen very limited use indeed. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio on offer here is absolutely amazing - there's really no other way of describing it. Intros and inbetweens are totally silent and the audio comes across without even the barest hint of background. The only thing I detected the entire way through was two crackles right at the start of the intro to side 2. It really is that well preserved. The audio quality is the beautifully rich full range variety you only find on decent first pressings. I would imagine there is zero chance of you beating this!!
Cover (Vg+) Has been looked after down the years and needs to have been as these covers are notoriously fragile. This one shows a bit of edge wear and a bit of ring wear, but nothing really heavy or that noticeable. The cover still retains a good level of rigidity and all seams are intact. The spine is also in good condition - the text is nearly entirely intact. I think it would be difficult to find much better than this one without it having been archived.
Inner (Ex-) Again, these are very flimsy and difficult to find in good condition. This one has survived in really good condition. There are a couple of creases and some light ageing, but importantly no splits!
