One of an outstanding reviewers collection of Classical early stereo SXL ASD, SAX and test pressing rarities we have just had in, all nice clean originals, many played just the once. Add me to your favourite sellers list, as I will need a while to put these in.

1961 1st pressing UK Decca Original Recording By labels Decca ED1 SXL 2269, with the St James Press sleeve.
Tchaikovsky Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture & Richard Strauss Don Juan tone poem. Karajan & the VPO, in shamelessly beautiful writing with string tone that matches that. Amongst the greatest of all Karajan recordings.
Wide Band Labels with deep groove & "Original Recording by" Rim Text. Best 1E1E first year stampers (as a reviewers copy will normally be) showing this is mastered by the excellent Stan Goodall.
Record in Near Mint condition, no feelable marks and very clean playing surfaces, Sleeve is Excellent. No splits pen, excessive dirt or creases. Labels are clean as seen in pics. Original FFSS inner excellent, the little sign of wear to this suggesting as do the lack of many spindle trails that this has not been played much in its 56 year life. A highly regarded top collectable SXL. The earliest type pressing, with lowest first year stampers.
Heard throughout, this played near mint with the minimum amount of pops without even being cleaned.
