Description
Campoli with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult playing Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin in e minor, op. 64 and Max Bruch’s Scottish Fantasia, op. 46.
One of the scarcest Decca stereo recordings from 1958. Jacket VG+, visible ringwear, creases on lower right corner, lamination starting to peel on top and bottom seams of back panel, owner’s private catalog number in ink on back panel. Original inner sleeve present. The record itself is NM-, a beautiful copy. There are three or four ticks or pops on each side, perhaps removable by cleaning; otherwise the surfaces are very quiet. Visually bright and fresh, no scratches or scuffs. Stampers ZAL-4055-4E and ZAL 4056-1E.
