Digger Revell & The Denvermen   -  Sun-seeker

Original 1963 unique unreleased RCA Australia 7" White label test pressing In top condition, the vinyl is Near Mint, with top audio - (Near Mint)
A unique, unreleased early 1960s Australian Surf Rock recording.
An unreleased single, with "Sun-seeker" on the A side, and "Baby, You've Got What I Like" on the B side.
A little bit of Australian recording history, this is a unique pressing, never released in this pairing, and the B side was never released ever, so this is a very rare early 1960s, Australian Surf Rock recording.
The run-out matrices give up some important information on this one, with the A side "Sun-seeker" being the same run-out as the B side release of "Stomp Fever", titled "The Sun-seeker"
I think this Test pressing maybe an alternative consideration, made at the same time that "Stomp Fever" was being produced, as the records share 1 side matrix, they are from the same master, and the alternative side on this test pressing was never released
The song on the B side "Got What I like" would be recorded and released on RCA labels, by Australian Pop Star Rod Dunbar, later that same year (1963)
There is a bit more going on with the artists as well, as Stomp Fever is credited to just the Denvermen, whereas this test pressing is written as "Digger Revell & The Denvermen", so perhaps that indicates a Digger Revell shut out prior to the final release.
Sun-seeker is an instrumental, so Digger Revell is not needed to be credited, just the Denvermen. So it makes sense that that RCA shut Digger Revell out, released "Sun-seeker" with "Stomp Fever" (credited to just the "Denvermen"), and gave the song "Got What I like" to Rod Dunbar.

This is an above average used record, that has been well looked after.

The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even stick, skip or jump.. This is starting to be an unpleasant listening experience at the top of the grade (55) and will not be a pleasant listening experience at all by the end of it (41).
