ELVIS PRESLEY'S 1ST AUSTRALIAN 7'' SINGLE 45rpm. THIS IS A PREVIEW NOT FOR SALE RECORD.
This is an Australian pressing on the RCA label, cat no: 10189
VINYL : GOOD, it has a lot of hairline scratches, some you can feel with your finger. There is small indentation on ' That's All Right ' side towards the end, like something pointed has struck the vinyl in the one spot. This has not gone through to the other side though. Because of the damage to the vinyl I will grade on audio sound quality as well. Side 1, [with the small indentation] plays through with plenty of crackle and pops until it hits the indentation then makes a louder click a couple of times and some hissing, until it passes this and finishes the track. Side 2 plays through with the normal amount of crackle and pops for a record in this condition. Both sides play through without jumping or skipping on MY EQUIPMENT , that's not to say it wont jump on your turntable. I can't say to you that it wont. In the photo shots above you will see a photo of the indentation, although it is exaggerated because of the close up.
COVER : EXCELLENT, a couple of creases here and there. Not sure whether this is the right sleeve for that year or not.
LABELS : VERY GOOD , nice labels for the age, just a bit of rubbing wear and a few light marks.

MINT: No defects or surface marks at all on vinyl, no defects on cover, posters or inserts, and no defects on label. Record has no loss of sound, no pops or static and has full gloss look.
NEAR MINT: Maybe one or two extremely light hairline surface lines or one very light scratch visible on vinyl, and the smallest of defect on cover , posters or inserts , one or two very light spindle marks on labels. Record retains its high gloss. No loss of sound.
EXCELLENT: May have some very light hairline surface marks or scuffs on vinyl, some minor defects on cover and some light spindle marks or name on label. Record still retains its full gloss look, but there might be a very light pop or static on a track or two. A definite keeper.
VERY GOOD: Will have more noticeable surface marks and scratches or scuffs on vinyl, some more noticeable defects on cover, posters or inserts , and more noticeable spindle marks on labels. Will start to effect sound quality to some minor degree, will be some popping or static due to wear on a couple of tracks, but still be a good listening experience. A keeper till something better comes along.
GOOD: Vinyl will display scratches or scuffs all over the surface which will affect the shine of the vinyl as well, the cover, posters and inserts could be ripped or bent and have pieces missing or have water damage etc, and labels could be ripped or damaged or have names deeply written on them by pen or texter etc. Quality of sound will be deteriorating, ei [ lots of crackling and static etc ] , and the stylus may jump or skip or it may not depending on the equipment being used.
