This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker,  New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.

 Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

EX!! Nice, heavy vinyl, with only very light marks to her.
*NO SKIPS OR JUMPS*
I have just finished listening to all of her (LOUD) and found some light occasional background noise BUT also a superb rich deep bass reproduction.
A gentle professional clean, I am sure will get rid of the small amount of background noise and UPGRADE FURTHER!
FLAT, HEAVY AND ORIGINAL!

Labels: EX. There's a minimal amount of central hole wear as seen in the pictures. Other than that the labels stand out nice and clean, with no writing or rips.
 Outer rim text starts with "The Parlophone Co.Ltd" "Recording First Published 1963" stated under the printed matrix number.
NO "Sold In UK..." statement...Showing it is the 5th pressing.
NO WRITING
"KT" tax code proud and raised to side 2.


Inner: Near MINT!!! It is the ORIGINAL poly-lined "Use Emitex"
NO writing.
NO rips or tears
WONDERFUL time-warp condition!
Also has the rarer printed statement: "Patents Applied For"
Heavier, strong paper.
ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN IN A GOOD LONG TIME
Certainly done her job in keeping the record in great condition!

RARER 1st PRINTING EJ DAY COVER
( These were produced at roughly a ration of 1:10, compared to the usual Garrod & Lofthouse covers)
 There is minimal wear to this cover, with a few little spidering areas to the laminate and some fingers of spidering eminating from the seams..
The only other point to mention is slight rubbing to the corners-that really is it!
