Description

Here is a Christmas album from my collection offered up for sale:  Bing Crosby's 1st holiday album from 1945, this is a second pressing 4 disc set of his Christmas singles, "Merry Christmas A-550" released in 1947 by Decca A 550 (Mono), all discs labels have 550 on them. Features 10" rigid 1940's shellac style vinyl played at 78 rpm, cover with a young Bing image on front and Decca printing on back, hard to find this 72 year old set in this nice condition!

 (make sure your record player has a 78 rpm setting before purchasing this set!)


The records overall grade EX, all are clean and glossy, one looks NM and rarely played, two have only a few light marks, the fourth has a few more light marks but nothing heavy, PLAY TESTED, all play excellent!

 

The cover rates EX, is clean and bright with minimal handling wear ~ has just a small scrape to front image, binder edge metallic print bright and readable ~ binder has a few linear splits to the fabric at edges, otherwise edges and corners excellent, inside sleeves are clean with no splits, no tape, no signatures or writing, no stains, beautiful, has been VERY well cared for! (see all photos)
