Description
Here is a RARE ORIGINAL Christmas album from my collection offered up for sale: Bing Crosby's classic album "Merry Christmas" released in 1955 by Decca Records DL 8128 (mono), this is a 1st pressing with the rigid 1950's style vinyl and black and silver labels, has plastic baggie inner sleeve and cover still has original tape closure, hard to find in this nice condition, a well preserved 62 year old collectable!
The vinyl grades NEAR MINT, is super clean and super glossy, has only a couple small light marks, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays excellent from start to finish, clear sound with a few very light pops, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The vintage baggie has a small split at opening edge.
The cover rates NEAR MINT, white is excellent, has deep bright colors with beautiful portrait of Bing, edges and corners excellent, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX and readable, only flaw is one faint spot stain on back (near top), no signatures or writing, looks minimally handled, has been very well cared for. Will be shipped in a .3ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in a paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
