No. 0371991
!SOUNDS GREAT!
(CLEANED WITH Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner)

This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The vinyl remains shiny. The vinyl has just a few light marks to her, after playing her through, I found very little background noise...Mainly evident on the run-ins and inbetween tracks-that is all! There are just a couple of light and very infrequent light pops to the audio...Nothing to detract from its richness.
Wonderful deep & rich sound reproduction.
Even the quieter side 4 played beautifully, with just some very light background cracjle at the start of 'Revolution 9'.
CERTAINLY NO JUMPS OR STICKS
A simple joy to listen to.
Really, REALLY nice playback!

The labels:
EX-.
"KT" Tax code to side 4
All four of the labels have the DARKER apple.
Just light spindle marks to each label, with minimal hole wear evident!
GORGEOUS-VERY DISPLAYABLE
"An EMI Recording" on just the one line, rather than split later onto 2 lines.
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.

It is the first run TOP loading with a great shine to her.
Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold without writing!!
The spine remains strong but rubbed.
Has the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.

There is wear to this sleeve-as you can see in the detailed images provided. The corners are rubbed and there is a tiny 1cm split to the back gatefold at the top. The colour has faded and it looks a little grubby. BUT ALL ORIGINAL and remains in a solid condition.

AGAIN, I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL!!!
PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADINGS

Very good and very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold....Remains lovely and clean inside.
