Description

Up for bid is the 2 minute Edison Black Wax cylinder record #2218 "Sleighride Party", featuring "Jingle Bells", performed and sung by the Edison Male Quartet. This is the first recording of this well known holiday favorite. Originally recorded in 1898, this black wax version was released a few years later, probably around 1902.  This copy is in great condition, clean as a whistle. Plays well and sounds good. Record comes in a Gold Moulded box with lid
