Up for sale is one(1) Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy LP from 1975 with the gatefold cover on MCA Records (#MCA 2142). There is No Barcode.***HAS ALL OF THE 4 ORIGINAL INSERTS.***
Includes with the original Poster, lyric booklet, scraps booklet and 2 sided fan club order form. The fan club order form is almost always missing from this set. The inserts are in great shape, but have wear typical with age.
The gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, minor scrapes, minor crumples, and minor ring wear. NO SPLIT SEAMS.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in GREAT shape.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition, but has some visual surface marks that will cause some surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is a going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice fairly clean labels with minor spindle marks. Comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played back in the day(I had other copies that I played, this one stayed on the shelf). Not played in over 30+ years.
