Description
Rare original UK "Living Stereo" pressing of the iconic Elvis Presley soundtrack album "It Happened at the World's Fair" (1963). Catalogue number S.f. 7565 with original first press matrices. Pressed on heavy vinyl with Silver and Black RCA Victor labels (not later red spot RCA Victor labels) so first version. Also original pink stereo inner and fully laminated cover - all denotes first press.
Mono versions common as stereo albums were new at the time and equipment very costly. Mostly reserved for classical stereo enthusiasts and few pop/rock n roll albums were issued this way and often had to be ordered specially.
Cover is fully laminated and close to EX with some minor discolouration to edges as shown. Inner is original pink stereo sleeve and EX. Vinyl is EX except for the odd light scuff and some evidence of handling/play. Some initial light surface noise but otherwise just cosmetic and does not affect play.
