DescriptionThis listing is for the rarest of the rare - an Evile "Enter The Grave" misprinted LP. One of only a handful of misprinted vinyl sleeves, this double LP comes with a green sleeve instead of the usual red sleeve, because magenta was missed off at the production plant. These were withdrawn from sale by the label immediately, and have never been offered or even shown to the public.
Originally pressed for release in January 2008, Evile's debut album was supposed to be manufactured on 900 2x12" black vinyls, and 100 2x12" red vinyls. However, the very first few of the black vinyls came out like this, with a screen missing causing the color to be green instead of red. The inside of the gatefold sleeve is still full color, and the record itself is in pristine condition and still sealed.
As this is the only one we have, and we will not be able to replace it, this vinyl will be sent via tracked express airmail from the UK. However, we will NOT charge you for the cost of shipping, no matter where you live! The final price of the auction is the price you will pay!
The misprinted copies are currently owned by a few Earache staff and the band themselves. This copy is being sold by the Earache boss, and therefore is highly likely to be the ONLY time this rare mispressing is ever available for sale, so if you don't buy it now, you will never ever own one!
Earlier last year, the test pressings of this album were sold on ebay for over £300! Even the 2x12" red vinyls (100 copies) are almost impossible to find now. All collectors and serious Evile fans alike should take notice of this auction, because whoever wins will be the only person in the world besides some Earache staffers and the band themselves to own one of these! This ultra rare misprinted sleeve could well end up being a highly valuable item, especially as its on the debut album of Evile.
