FRANK ZAPPA - SLEEP DIRT  

1979 UK WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING - K59211 (DSK 2292) A-1 & B-1.

A very rare earliest UK (A1 & B1) white label test pressing version of this superb 'Frank Zappa' vinyl album. Earliest FIRST PRESSING, so has 'TIMTOM' & 'TY' hand etched Into the dead wax. Comes with the original PROOF artwork. No many of these earliest advance TEST PRESS copies would have been produced, & so they do not appear for sale very often at all. So, here's a very rare opportunity to purchase a copy, with the vinyl in superb clean condition, looks hardly played, the audio is really fantastic throughout all tracks. Be hard to find better.

The vinyl is in beautiful EX+ condition. Looks stunning, looks barely played. Both sides have a fantastic clean deep glossy sheen. There are no noticeable surface marks at all. Just a few extremely light sleeve withdrawal traces to be seen In much harsher light conditions. Both sides look near new, all tracks play as new, & all tracks sound as new. Barely played, so a stunning clean & clear sound quality throughout all tracks, with no lessening in the audio at all. No annoying crackle or pop, no real surface noise to mention. Just a fantastic looking / playing / sounding album.

The plain white TEST PRESS labels are lovely & clean. No writing, & no marking. The labels look as new.

The vinyl comes with the original, uncut, unfolded PROOF artwork, the earliest print of the cover, made by the designer or printer, to check the quality & the clarity of the sleeve. This PROOF artwork is in very good condition. Some light storage wear, also some wear along the spine, a little ageing / marking, but, nothing bad at all, still looks in really great shape, with no major defects at all.
