Frank Zappa & The Mothers "The Grand Wazoo"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Bizarre 2093 from 1972. This is a stereo white label promo copy. It was pressed in very limited numbers and only when it was first issued. Frank Zappa goes totally avant-garde. What a great title too : 'The Grand Wazoo' !! Cover art is by Cal Schenkel. Produced, composed, and arranged by Frank Zappa. The inside gatefold has picture of the players, a strange story about 'The Legend Of Cleetus Awrightus & The Grand Wazoo', and who played on which songs.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M-
The gatefold cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. There is a hint of overall wear. There is a 2 x 2 white sticker that says 'Frank Zappa And The Mothers' on the front cover at top center. That's the only thing that lets you know it's a promo copy. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a Bizarre inner sleeve.
The songs are : For Calvin, The Grand Wazoo, Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus, Eat That Question, and Blessed Relief.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 3 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 19 ounces ( 1 pound, 3 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
