Absolutely gorgeous copy of Glenn Miller’s very first ever album, An Album of Outstanding Arrangements on Victor Records, on the original 4-78rpm Victor Smart Set P-148. Features the all-time classic In the Mood, pressed from the original master. This copy is truly exceptional in every way. All four discs are just gorgeous. The first one, American Patrol / Volga Boatmen, is the only one with a bit of noticeable wear, but just barely. A few minor scuffs on that one but it still plays just about perfectly. The other three discs are nearly mint. Maybe a couple of very light scuffs but really remarkably beautiful copies. The cover is likewise just gorgeous, with a little surface dig on the front right next to Miller’s glasses, and some very light corner wear and very slight fraying at the bottom of the spine. But really it is a top cover, with nearly no edge wear and a perfectly intact spine and strong binding. This is truly a top original copy, hard to beat.
