Description

Gene Ammons All Stars - Jammin’ With Gene

Catalog # Prestige LP 7060

This is an original 1958 1st pressing, mono, deep groove copy with the 447 W. 50th St. address and RVG in the dead wax.

Media = VG. Both sides of this lp have marks all over it, some that are slightly feelable, but no single one that sticks out as the worst. I have listened to this lp front to back twice and there are no skip, but there is some light Rice Krispies present in many parts of the lp to varying degrees, but it never overwhelms the music. If you want a decent, original play copy to actually spin while you hold out for that upgraded version, then this is it!

Sleeve = VG. Light, general wear throughout. 3/4 of the top right of the sleeve is split from improper storage for the last 62 years. Those old, laminated Prestige cover still looks great. They sure hold up well, even if they were manufactured a tad bit small for the actual records they were intended to hold. Presents very, very well...

I grade using Goldmine Standards.

I use brand new mailers, sleeves, and inserts to make sure your record lands your way in the same shape it was sent out in.
