This complete and original UK 1st press box set of George Harrison's debut solo album is an extremely rare
The vinyl all have 1U matrix numbers which identify them as original 1st pressings; widely acknowledged to offer superior sound quality when compared to later re-pressings.
The vinyl are housed within a 2nd variant box, identifiable by the 'Manufactured by Apple Records Inc.' text printed on the inverse of the front side.
This box-set is complete with the full colour 36 x 24 poster, and all 3 original 1st press 'printed in USA' coloured inner sleeves.

All three vinyl visually maintain a deep-gloss finish with only very light hairline marks visible under strong daylight. MINT-. The labels are bright and clean with minimal spindle wear. MINT-. The audio is superb, quiet lead-ins to both sides and in between tracks. There is great channel separation, clear vocals and a punchy bass. There are no obtrusive pops, skips or jumps. EXCELLENT+.
BOX: EXCELLENT +
The cover image on outer box is notorious for getting dirty - this copy stands out as remarkably clean. Only very subtle discolouration is visible on the outer edge of the cover image. I presume this is from the glue ageing rather than usage. If you look very closely one or two very small storage can be seen but nothing particularly noteworthy. I've owned many copies of this box-set over the years and this is one of the cleanest boxes I've seen.
Inners - Sleeve & Poster: MINT -
The poster has clearly never been out of the box. It looks brand new. All three inners sleeves are in fantastic condition. No seam splits, no creasing, no discolouration. Great. Also included in the sale are three audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeves to help protect and preserve the fantastic records.
