HAWKWIND

IN SEARCH OF SPACE

W/ ORIGINAL GIMMICK SLEEVE

This auction is for Hawkwind - In Search of Space - United Artists UAS-5567. CONDITION: DISC: M-, just a couple very light marks from inner sleeve, no spindle marks on labels; COVER: VG++, fragile sleeve is in excellent condition, just very slight rub to the front. Back cover is almost perfect which is impossible because it's black in background. Fragile die-cut sleeve with all it's folding parts is in excellent condition, the best I've ever seen for this record. Also comes with original blue inner sleeve, with NO seamsplits. When shipping, disc will be placed in another sleeve and outside of the cover. Great example of a classic.

From Amazon review: Pioneers of the space-rock sound, Hawkwind are probably best known for the track “Silver Machine”. Their regular sci-fi themes featured dystopian futures, a fascination that resulted in occasional collaborations with sci-fi writer Michael Moorcock. They regularly positioned themselves outside of the establishment – and even outside of the Isle of Wight festival when they played on the other side of the fence – and were also known for performing overnight during the solstice at Stonehenge.

Bid with confidence as I have graded and sold records for 25 years. I am also very careful when packaging records. The disc is placed outside of cover and attention is paid to the corners of the package so that the corners of the LP cover will not be damaged during transit.
