IMPORTANT NOTE:
This item is from the record & ephemera collection of Mike Jordan, owner of the renowned Providence, RI jazz club, Allary. These items date from the late 1950s thru the late 1970s and include everything from records (45s, 10", EPs, LPs) to ephemera (photographs, autographs, letters from musicians, original contracts, handbills, clippings, etc). Musicians who played at Allary include: Pepper Adams, Jackie MacLean, George Coleman, Art Farmer, Frank Foster, Frank Strozier, Horace Silver, Bob Mover, Mike Murphy, Roy Haynes, Zoot Sims, Johnny Hartman, and Sonny Rollins, among many others. This incredible collection also includes items from Jordan's friend Bernie Moss, owner of Boston's Jazz Workshop.
