Description

Have No Fear Big Joe Turner Is Here Autographed 2 LP.  Records have a few super super light surface scratches but play and sound great on my player. Labels are unmarked. Gatefold Cover has corner wear, creasing, scuff marks and edge wear. 
  36 years ago in February 1985, Jeff dragged me to The Rainbow Tavern in Seattle telling me we were going to see a legend in Blues Rock, Big Joe Turner. He brought some LP's hoping to get them signed. He walked up to a man that he thought had to be in the band and asked him if he was with the band. The man said, yes, I'm Joe Houston. Jeff had no idea he was playing with him or he would have brought his LP's too, so he asked/begged him if he'd be so kind to sign Big Joe Turner's LP, which he did. Jeff asked him if he could possibly get Big Joe to sign it too and Joe Houston said "You can just go in the back where he's at and he'll sign them for you". Jeff went back where Joe was sitting drinking his "Red Juice", knelt in front of him and asked him to please sign for him, which he did. Big Joe had missed a couple shows at The Rainbow due to his health and died later that November so we were fortunate to have seen one of his last shows.    I remember it seemed hard for him to sing, but it was still amazing. Joe Houston was FABULOUS too. The back up band was Seattle's, Reputations which included Rich Dangel of The Wailers. Included is the news/calendar we picked up at the show.
