You are bidding on a rare UHQR Mobile Fidelity Original Master Recording of Holst: The Planets by the George Solti conducting the London Philharmonic Orchestra (MFQR 1-510 - IHolst: The Planets) Serial #4662 of 5000 pressings. Box is in excellent condition with just a little shelf wear on the bottom edge. All documentation is still intact. Vinyl is mint or better.
UHQR pressings are amazing. Every possible quality control measure is taken to insure you of receiving the most spectacular sounding and most qualitative record conceivable utilizing the most advanced technology.
AUDIOPHILE PAMPERED! All my unsealed audiophile albums are mint... if anything might be considered near less than mint, it would only be ever so slight aging of the outer jacket. The actual vinyl disks are mint. Expect minor marking around the spindle hole.
Visually and audibly, the vinyl disks are MINT.
PLEASE READ: All of my "unsealed" vinyl records have been properly stored and meticulously cared for. They have had minimal play on only the finest audiophile equipment.
All records were cleaned using a VPI enclosed vacuum washer (archival equipment). Disks are place into the inner liner bag, then into the album jacket with the liner bag opening toward the top of the jacket. The jacket was then stored in a poly bag with the bag opening at the top and the album jacket opening on the side. This creates a lock from any sort of air contaminant.

In the case of the Original Master Recording™ (OMR) LP, the use of the master tape is combined with a unique procedure known as "half-speed" mastering, which literally slows down the cutting system involved in mastering vinyl so that musical information can be transferred from the source tape to the lacquer with greater precision.
