Description
Up for auction is a rare 1963 mono pressing of the Horace Silver Quintet ‘Silver's Serenade’ LP on Blue Note Records BLP 4131. Other musicians include Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor, and Roy Brooks.
Record info:
Strong VG+ with minor surface noise. It plays great!
Cover info:
VG+ with minor general wear. It does have some water exposure staining on back cover at bottom, nice clean seams with some corner denting. It comes with the original Blue Note Records inner sleeve (minor edge tearing).
Label / Pressing info:
1963 New York USA address label with Van Gelder stamp and ear logo on both sides in the dead wax.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
