Jackson C. Frank - Jackson C. Frank (Columbia) UK (1965) 33SX 1788
Legendary debut album from Jackson C. Frank, produced by Paul Simon and including the masterpieces 'Blues Run The Game' and 'Milk and Honey' later covered by Bert Jansch, Sandy Denny and Nick Drake amongst others.
The album sold poorly on release but has continued to grow in stature since, making original copies rare and highly sought after.
This auction is for an original 1st press mono copy in laminated flipback sleeve with original Emitex poly-lined inner.
Condition/sleeve: Vg (Solid overall. Some slight creasing and edge/corner wear. Slight staining on rear. 7mm tear to opening edge. No seam splits or other major defects)
Condition/vinyl: Vg (Strong Vg. Glossy vinyl with a few light surface marks. One light scratch on Track 2 on Side 1 which is barely audible. LP plays very well overall with some slight surface noise in places and some occasional light distortion in a few louder passages. Listen to the audio to judge for yourself.)
