Description
Original LP release from James O’Connell, Power To Love, issued by Sonburst (SBR-103). LP and cover – still in the shrinkwrap – are in beautiful VG++ condition.
From Archivist:
“As the title of one of his songs attests, James O’Connell is ‘Supernaturally High’. Yep it’s another one of them long-haired hippie-type Jesus people persons armed with a guitar and a message. The aforementioned song has some cool spacey synthesizer, ?ute and echoed vocals while ‘You Don’t Really Have To Hide’ includes some distant eerie choral-like effects. Both these tracks are carried by a brisk trippy hypnotic rhythm and crisp CSN—ish acoustic guitar, making for some very hip west-coast folk-rocking. Nice ethereal mellotron accompaniment joining soft piano on the gentle acoustic ‘Rainbow Hill’. From the same small label that gave us equally good albums by Rich Martin and Shiloh.”
