Hard to believe that next year, in 2020, it will be THIRTY years since Jane's Addiction's second studio album, 'Ritual de lo Habitual', was released! The band broke up (the first time) after this landmark alternative classic came out. The cover caused such a scandal that Warner Bros. forced the band to change the cover. Which they did. To a plain white background, with the First Amendment of the US Constitution (the freedom of speech amendment) written on the cover. And a parental warning stamp!
That cover artwork saw the light of day again when a special, limited edition picture disc was released! The single was "Classic Girl", and the record also contains two live tracks: "No One's Leaving", and "Ain't No Right". This, unfortunately, does not come with its original die cut sleeve, but will come in a plain, heavy, clear plastic sleeve. The record itself looks new! Obviously taken care of its whole life, this limited edition vintage picture disc is all shiny and clean! A sweet piece of 90s rock memorabilia to have, and at a nice price!
