Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare first U.K. STEREO pressing of The Jimi Hendrix Experience – Axis: Bold as Love on the Track label, cat. no. 613 003 with mega rare lyrics insert and “STEREO” sticker on the cover.
The record is in EX+ condition, there are a few non – sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition, there are a few spindle marks only.
The cover is in VG+++ condition, there is some light wear along the top seam on the front and some very slight wear in the corners. In my opinion it’s very close to EX minus, but because of the slight wear along the top seam, I’ll downgrade it a little. Besides mentioned small imperfections, there is nothing wrong with the cover, no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.
The insert is VG+++ condition as well, there is some very light handling wear and a light fold on the right panel.
This is an extremely rare complete U.K. 1st STEREO pressing of The Jimi Hendrix Experience second album, Axis: Bold as Love. Although the cover has some small imperfections, the record is in absolutely stunning condition. And more important, the mega rare lyrics insert is still present. In 90% of all original Axis copies, this insert is missing. Just try to find another copy in this fabulous condition. Believe me, this will be very hard, as most of the inserts are missing, or the record is badly damaged. This is a unique opportunity to obtain a complete copy of the second Jimi Hendrix album, a real must have for all Jimi Hendrix fans, psychedelic music fans or fans from the 1960’s music in general!
