JIMMY MERRITT northern soul 45 "I'll Forget About You" / "Lonely Battle"

Artist: JIMMY MERRITT

Titles: “I’ll Forget About You” / “Lonely Battle”

Label: CRACKERJACK. Label is black with silver text. Radio station copy, stock black/yellow label stamped “DJ” on both sides. Catalog number is Crackerjack 4007.

Year: 1961-62 (est.)

Condition: Nice VG+ with nearly 100% of original gloss. Has a few light scuffs and a couple minor marks, but none are serious and the record plays through with strong fidelity. The vinyl surfaces have very tiny imperfections due to the fact that Crackerjack used a substandard grade of vinyl in the manufacturing process. This produces a very slight bit of surface noise, but overall does not significantly affect the playback as you can hear in the sound clips provided.

Labels display minor rubbing, but otherwise are clean except for a stamped “D-J” on both sides and a small “X” on one side to indicate plug side.
