Description
Artist: JIMMY SMITH
Title: “Jimmy Smith at the Organ (The Incredible Jimmy Smith), Vol. 1”
Label: BLUE NOTE. Monaural pressing on thick vinyl, with deep groove. Catalog number is BLP 1551.
Both sides have the West 63rd St. address, with no “Inc” or registry symbol. Both sides have etched matrix number and RVG, and also has ear symbol in runout area.
Jacket is heavily laminated. Address on reverse of jacket at bottom is “BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 West 61st St., New York 23”.

Condition:
DISC: Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care. Grades nice VG++ with a few minor scuffs, but no serious marks or problems. Fidelity is awesome. Labels are clean. A superb playing copy.
JACKET: Laminated jacket is nice VG++. Front art work is clean and bright. The laminate is beginning to peel slightly along the right opening edge, otherwise fine. There is a noticeable bend at the bottom left corner, and original small retail price sticker at bottom right corner. Corners are excellent except for top left which displays minor wear at the tip. Reverse is clean and white, with a bit of very minor surface wear beginning to appear. No writing, cutout indications, or other issues. Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
