Description
This is Rama #1003- "Locking Horns" by Joe Newman, Zoot Sims, Oscar Pettiford, Adrian Acea and Osie Johnson. Side One is made up of "Corky", "Mambo For Joe", "Wolfafunt's Lament", "Midnight Fantasy" and " 'Tater Pie". The B side has "Oh Shay", "Bassing Around", "Oh Joe", "Susette" and "Similar Souls". The original deep groove album is for the most part in very good + condition. The front cover slick is super clean and glossy. The back cover has 3.98 written in pen and some discoloration (water damage?) up and down the left and right side. The seams are very tight- there are a few nibbles along the top and bottom sides and the top left side of the back cover. The vinyl is nice and glossy with just a few light marks. The A side sounds fine- you might hear 5-6 light clicks, most of these happen during "Wolfafunt's Lament". The B side appears to be in the same condition except for "Oh Shay"- there are about 7-8 light clicks during this song and then one loud pop at the end. The rest of the side plays with 3-4 light clicks throughout the side. Thanks for looking !
