JOHNNY WILLIAMS (JOHN LEE HOOKER) Real Gone Gal/Questionaire Blues GOTHAM 509 shellac 78 RPM record in VG+ condition BUT with the following flaws: there is a hairline crack from the deadwax almost to the middle of the record that is hard to see but it IS there BUT it doesn't affect play, the "Questionaire' side is a very strong VG+ BUT does have some extremely light scratches. The other side is also a very strong VG+ BUT there is a DEEP scratch from the deadwax into almost a 4th of the record that measures about 1 1/4", as well as a few other scratches. The deep one DOES affect play and there is a light "ticking sound". Because of these flaws, this record is sold AS IS with NO RETURNS so bid at your own risk. Both of the labels are free of writing and stickers but the 'Real Gone' one has some tears (see scan) as well as A LOT of spindlewear.
Despite these flaws, this is still a great and VERY RARE record--one of John Lee Hooker's best!

I use brand new heavy card board boxes, big bubble bubble wrap and packing peanuts and know how to pack. I've been collecting/auctioning/selling records for over 50 years and still collect myself.
