Rare original UK album. Checked out all of the below requirements and verified.
This is the earliest UK issue, with the Island logo & radial text in white at the head of the labels.The 12-page newspaper gatefold-style sleeve has a heavyweight card construction of the record pocket, unlike later issues using a lighter card stock (which also have the same labels & later labels). Consequently, there is a noticeable paper weight difference between the 2 sleeve versions. The Chrysalis imprint appears on page 12.
Later repress (2nd press) issues do not have the Island imprint on the labels; See: Issue without Island imprint labels (which are also a lighter weight vinyl).

Grading Scale
NM - near perfect, played rarely if ever.
VG++ - almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++
VG+ - vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that don't affect the sound.
VG - surface noise will be noticeable,but will not overpower the music.

Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably. A Good to VG– cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft.
