Description
Island - ILP 985 - mono - pink "red ball" label
Condition - cover near excellent and disc excellent
Now here's a rare opportunity!
This is the withdrawn mono version of Jethro Tull's debut album issued in 1968 and almost impossible to find in any condition. The band were very much a progressive blues band at this time due to the influence of guitarist Mick Abrahams but he left before the follow up was issued and Ian Anderson took them into progressive rock. This withdrawn mono mix is wonderfully punchy and I prefer it to the stereo version.
The cover has a little creasing but nothing too noticeable and the disc is nice & shiny with only light marks which don't affect play.
The matrixes are ILP 985 A & ILP 985 B
I would prefer to be paid via Paypal and I'm happy to ship anywhere on the planet.
