From Atlantic Records (1361), this is MY FAVORITE THINGS by
JOHN COLTRANE, an original, authentic (first) US monaural high fidelity
pressing from March 1961 on the purple and pink label with white "fan" logo. It is
NOT a reissue, an import or a counterfeit pressing. There are no spindle marks
on either label and playing surfaces appear MINT showing high gloss which means
no groove wear. It is a thick pressing. Play grades at about NEAR MINT MINUS
to solid MINT.
Cover is beautiful showing no flaws and no signs of wear or age (Mint Minus).
In addition, the jacket is sturdy showing intact seams and strong, nicely blocked
spine with printing dead center. This is the thick American-style, laminated jacket.
This mono version has never been available on CD or any other digital format.
A find like this comes along about once in a decade.
