Extremely rare original pressing and one of the first records released on the Takoma label. 8 page booklet included. The bottom of the cover states, "This record is a limited pressing, second edition." But this is actually the first official record by Fahey. He did a 100 copy run in 1959 (of which 2 were damaged when shipped from the pressing plant) with most of the tunes on this record (refered to as the "lost recordings"). There were 4 more tunes that were recorded in 1964 and added to fill out the record. Cover has light shelf wear and a small gold name sticker in the top right corner of the front cover. Another gold sticker on one side's center label. The record has a few light scuffs from the sleeve and plays with an occasional clicks.

We do not play grade MOST of our records so we guarantee our visual grading with a money back guarantee that includes shipping. If we do play grade a record, we will let you know about any noise in detail in our description. Generally, we do not list records below EX- condition unless it is exceptionally rare. We do not recommend audiophiles bid on records in less than NM- condition. Our grading standard is as follows.

Mint is only used for sealed records or records that we are certain have never been played.

Near Mint or NM is for the most part as good as it gets! No marks and will play clean with no noise unless inherent in the pressing.

EX+ Will generally have one or two minor flaws, but will overall be near mint.

EX or Excellent will have light surface marks and some background noise.

EX- Overall an Excellent copy with light surface marks, but with something that distracts, like a small scratch that makes a few pops.

VG+ Consistent background noise, pops but should not skip or stick. Still a playable copy.

VG has many problems. Noise will dominate. May have quite a few pops and possibly a skip.

VG- Will likely have a skip or two and will be very noisy.

G = Our lowest grade and is actually a poor record.
