Original 1st Press US LP released in 1975 on ADAM VII Ltd. Records CAT: A8018. Hand written matrix number on runout grooves is A8018. Features all the signs looked for in an original copy including Has “Great” on spine not Greatest, no pasteover cover, you can see the edge of John’s shoulder on bottom right of cover, STEREO written on bottom right does not run together, has machine stamp of Bell Sound on runout grooves, little adverts and album covers on back are clear & Dead wax is of equal size on both sides.

Presented on this album are Lennon's rough mixes of what became his "Rock & Roll" album. The release of this mail order album in January 1975 resulted in Lennon stepping up the process of releasing "Rock & Roll" a month later. The following law suit was resolved in favor of Capitol Records and John Lennon. Production of this LP was halted and about 3000 copies survive.

Labels are nice and clean with only light signs of spindle marks. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear and marks and a small crease mark and tiny tear near bottom edge of spine and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.


Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.


Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
