Description
This is the original UK 1st pressing of SHOOTING AT THE MOON 1970 LP by KEVIN AYRES AND THE WHOLE WORLD on the HARVEST label.
This was bought when it was very first released, and therefore it has the following 1st press features:
- No EMI logo on the label
- The cover has a pleted spine in the top and bottom corners.
- A/B Matrix numbers and (stamper numbers) as follows:
- SHSP 4005 A-2G ("A" & "1")
- SHSP 4005 B-2G ("A" & "1")
- Original HARVEST inner sleeve

Record is EX++, near mint, nice shiny unmarked vinyl, plays like a new record, played a very small number of times over the years, with a small number of barely-visible spindle marks, and has no scratches and plays extremely well, even in between tracks and also the quiet passages.
The cover is EX+, nice clean shiny front laminate cover, with just slight ringwear imprint, and small amout of laminate blister bottom right - see picture. Otherwise it has excellent spine and top and bottom edges, and there is no writing. The back cover has no ringwear, just a small, short thin mark top left - see picture.
The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners.
